BASC at the Border Union Schools Countryside Education Day
We were delighted to support The Border Union Schools Countryside Education Day at Kelso earlier this week – run by the Society for P5 pupils across the Scottish Borders.
300 Scouts introduced to shooting
300 Scouts were introduced to shotgun shooting at the Suffolk Punch Scouts event, which ran from the 12-14 August.
The five-day event took place at the Hallowtree Scout Activity Centre in Ipswich., and gave Scouts access to a wide range of activities to try.
There was everything from aqua zorbing and tomahawk throwing to scuba diving and blacksmith skills.Â

BASC provided £15,000 of sponsorship from its Legacy Fund this year to ‘Estates that Educate’, run by Scotland’s Regional Moorland Groups.
