We run a range of training courses that are specific to deer stalking and deer management, including the deer stalking certificate 1 and 2.
Stalking schemes
BASC currently has four deer stalking schemes in operation – Baronscourt (Northern Ireland), Bowland, East of England (near Newmarket) and Hampshire.
The schemes have been developed to provide a variety of different deer stalking opportunities for members who wish to take up stalking and to provide those with limited access to stalking with the opportunity to gain practical experience and increase their knowledge.
Wild boar certificate
This course is designed for the sportsman or woman as part of their ongoing commitment to humane and responsible hunting of wild boar.
Register of competent deer stalkers
The BASC register of competent deer stalkers is an initiative which seeks to open up deer management opportunities for BASC members.
