This Code of Practice has been produced to provide an introductory guide to deer stalking and those involved should follow the guidance described.
Stalking schemes
BASC currently has three deer stalking schemes in operation – Baronscourt (Northern Ireland), Bowland and East of England (near Newmarket).
The schemes have been developed to provide a variety of different deer stalking opportunities for members who wish to take up stalking and to provide those with limited access to stalking with the opportunity to gain practical experience and increase their knowledge.

Deer Stalking Certificate (DSC1) assessment-only day
The Deer Stalking Certificate (DSC1) is designed for shooters who have recently taken up stalking and are seeking further knowledge and guidance.
