Young farmers hit the target at BASC shooting finals
After the pandemic halted the event in 2020, the BASC National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs clay shooting finals made a welcome return on Saturday 2nd October. Competitors from Young Farmers Clubs across the UK arrived at Oakedge Shooting Ground to compete for the coveted trophies.
Despite some pretty miserable weather conditions, the competitors put in some great scores around some challenging targets.
Lancashire and Lincolnshire come out on top
The scores were tight throughout, resulting in a thrilling shoot-off was required to decide first place in the senior class and third in the junior class.
Well done to all competitors for making the shooting finals such a superbly competitive renewal. The results are below:
